Five months, it would have been four…

My B-Diddy and I were so cute together, he was always so polite, always so kind.

We loved spending time together even though we lived a good hour and a half apart.

For my part, I was not interested in carrying on with any relationship if we were not compatible,
so it was important for me to see how well we fared in different circumstances, so, we dated, I mean, proper dated!

We shared so much in common; hobbies, certain habits; the differences between us were not earth shattering, so that was a good sign.

After living the single life for so long, I had become very set in my ways.

I liked things done a certain way and I made that very clear to him; this behaviour was enough to send anyone running and I was totally fine with that.

I always told my B that I was happy in my skin and he was along to add to my happiness; I was all good.

We discovered new restaurants, the botanical garden, murder mystery orient expressish, a Habitat for Humanity build and then we took a trip together.

Travel is important in my life, travel got me here.

My mate had to love travel too and as luck would have it, he loves to travel. I’ve got him beat though, I’m Nigerian, who is American, who has lived in Europe…

Three out of seven ain’t bad, he’s only been here!

We took a trip to Chicago.

We stayed at one of my favourite hotels on the MM and although it rained a little, we had such a great time walking around and getting fun shots.

I’m not sure why we opted for Chicago, it was the one city we had both visited multiple times, oh, I just remembered, my good friend lives there and I wanted her to meet my man.

We took a few more trips together, when B met my Daddy to ask for permission to marry me…
