Travel Vlog ✈ | Jamaica Jaunt | Montego Bay | Part One | #BeingMrsS #MrsS

So, I took a quick trip to Montego Bay, Jamaica for a friend's 50th birthday party....'tis the season.

My flight had a transfer via Newark (EWR) airport and, if I am not mistaken, this was my first time flying through that airport.

It looked like it had just gone through a renovation.  I must admit, it was quite beautiful and modern.

Plenty of places to eat, bathrooms were close enough to get to, and it was very clean.

Two things I didn't like were the numbering for the gates and, the trains 🚉 to shuttle passengers from concourse to concourse, those were like sardine cans.

No bueno 👎!

I was able to relax in one of the many United Airlines, United Club lounges spread across the concourse, Terminal C.

It was very clean, plenty spots to sit and charge devices. The food was decent and the staff were very helpful. My flight was early in the morning, I wonder if that was the reason there wasn't a terrible line to get into the lounge like it always is at the Delta Club lounge, who knows?

Then it was time to jet off to MBJ, the plane was clean and comfy. I was able to pair my Bluetooth headset with the plane's entertainment console so I got to watch some good movies without compromising the sound quality.

When we landed in MBJ, it was a smooth process through customs, I had filled out the questionnaire prior to my trip, they had check-in kiosks to validate the info, 1..2...and I was done.

I had to wait in the shuttle for some time for it to fill up before heading of the the resort. That was bad planning on my part, I should have arranged for something to get to the property quicker...oh well, you live and learn.
